It’s easy to believe a foreign war is over when the American troops come home, but life today in Iraq, almost 8 years after full-scale combat ended is far from peacetime.  AP Baghdad correspondent Philip Issa on the daily reality of Iraq and why President Trump’s statement that the real reason we keep forces in Iraq is to keep watch on Iran, hasn’t gone down well with the Iraqi government.  And the Iraqis are worried about the American base along the Syrian border at Al-Tanf.
