Just 2 to 3 years ago, America‚Äôs boom towns were the ones that hosted colleges and universities.  The coronavirus pandemic has changed all of that, emptying academic institutions and devastating college-town economies.  Making the situation even worse is the fact that 2020 is a Census year.  John Austin of the University of Michigan and the Michigan Economic Center explains the story.
