They call North Korea, the Hermit Kingdom, because it has, for the whole 70 year Kim family dynasty, kept to itself and kept visitors out. Recently, though, in the midst of its nuclear weapons squabble with the US, some American journalists were invited in. Carol Giacomo of the NY Times was one.
